Cascading reels replace winning symbols inside the same game round.

The first layout is checked under the slot's ordinary win rules. When it produces a qualifying win, the symbols involved are removed and the empty positions are filled. The replacement layout is then checked again inside the original game round.

If the new symbols form another win, the removal and refill step repeats. If they do not, the sequence ends. A cascade therefore creates more than one evaluation of the grid, but only when each replacement layout keeps the chain alive.

The shared idea does not make the rules interchangeable. A provider can change which symbols remain, whether a multiplier rises, what resets between rounds, and whether the mechanic works in the base game, a feature, or both. The title's game information controls those details.

Jammin' Jars attaches multipliers to its moving wild jars. Sweet Bonanza adds multiplier symbols during free spins and applies their combined value after a tumbling sequence. These are title-specific feature rules, not benefits that come automatically with cascading reels.

A cascade does not state a slot's RTP, volatility, hit frequency, or maximum win. It only explains what happens to symbols after a qualifying win. A long chain is one possible result inside the game's existing mathematical model, not evidence that the next round is more likely to win.
