Use the CGA licence lookup and match the exact casino domain.

The Curaçao Gaming Authority now distinguishes two records. A B2C Certificate of Operation authorizes one approved player-facing domain. A Licence Certificate confirms that an entity holds a B2C or B2B licence, but the regulator says that record is not domain-specific and does not authorize a casino website by itself.

For a casino website, start with the Certificate of Operation. Click the CGA seal on the exact domain and make sure it opens a certificate page hosted at cert.cga.cw rather than an image, copied badge or lookalike address.

First match the hostname on the Certificate of Operation to the website being checked. Then match the legal operator and current licence status. The CGA's certification policy says that a certificate showing a different domain belongs to another operation and does not authorize the site in front of you.

Next open the operator's separate Licence Certificate and confirm its validity and B2C type. A B2B supplier licence covers services supplied to operators; it is not permission to run a player-facing casino. This two-record check avoids mistaking a real company licence for approval of an unrelated domain.

The CGA's current domain guide lists four public licence states. Active means the licence is in force. Withdrawn means the operator voluntarily ended it and gaming operations ceased. Suspended means the CGA is waiting for corrective measures; any existing-player activity may continue only as the authority directs. Revoked means the authority ended the licence and the operator ceased gaming activity under Curaçao jurisdiction.

The regulator's dynamic seal is designed to change when the licence state changes, so a saved badge or an older screenshot is not current proof. Open the live certificate and record the exact domain, operator, licence number, status and date of the check. Do not infer that a suspended operation may accept new play or that a withdrawn or revoked record remains usable.

CGA licence conditions require regulator approval before a licensee adds or changes domains. The regulator's domain-management guide also treats each Certificate of Operation as domain-specific, even where primary and secondary domains have an approved relationship.

The same guide says that its DNS-based domain verification confirms control of a primary domain but is not full site approval; approval follows the CGA's compliance review. A shared operator name, licence number or verified-domain label is therefore not enough. Verify the exact hostname on the operation certificate and use only relationships displayed by the regulator.

The earlier orange sub-licence seal is no longer valid. Current licensed operators must use the CGA seal in the form issued by the regulator and link it to the official certificate platform.

Colour alone is not conclusive because an image can be copied. The useful proof is the click-through to cert.cga.cw and the matching Certificate of Operation. A corporate Licence Certificate seal serves a different purpose and should not replace the domain check.

CGA licence conditions require public information and terms covering the licensee, player accounts, withdrawals, dormant balances, responsible play, complaints and disputes. The presence of a licence does not show how clearly one casino applies those rules, so read the current brand terms as well.

The same conditions require operators to follow applicable rules in the markets where they offer games. A Curaçao certificate therefore does not establish that access is lawful from every country. Check residence, restricted markets, identity rules, payment ownership and account closure for the exact brand.

Start with the operator's published complaint procedure and keep the relevant terms, account references, requests and replies. The CGA's player-complaints policy provides for an internal process and independent alternative dispute resolution, while the exact route must match the operator and licence.

The CGA accepts regulatory complaints about supervised operators but says it does not handle individual disputes between players and operators. A complaint can inform supervision without guaranteeing a payment, account or dispute outcome.

A matching domain, operator, certificate and active status establish the public regulatory trail at the time of the check. They do not prove universal legality, fast withdrawals, easy verification, suitable promotions or a favourable decision in every dispute.

The compared reviews use current Curaçao licence wording but still differ on restricted markets, verification powers, payment rules, withdrawal limits and account controls. Those brand-specific terms remain part of the decision after the certificate check.
